James E. Wentworth, Jr. of Whitman formerly of Brockton and Weymouth passed away December 25, 2009 at Brockton Hospital. He was 46. Son of James E. Wentworth Sr., of Brockton and the late Virginia Wentworth. Beloved husband of 24 years of Cynthia Wentworth. Brother of William K. Wentworth of Brockton. Stepfather of Lynn M. Cullinan and Thomas Doane of Whitman, Stacey L. and husband Robert Celia of Brockton, and Cheryl F. Cullinan and Timothy Connors of Abington. Also survived by his Aunt Gerry Mullaney of Weymouth and Uncle Bob Wentworth of Maine, and many nieces and nephews. Grandfather of Marcial, Marinda, Joshua, Jarrid, Rebecca, Timothy, Alexis, Jason, Megan and Matthew. Brother-in-law of Debbie and Michael Pratt of Middleboro, Arthur Pratt of Alabama, and Roxane Sucharzewski and Diane Pratt both of TN.
He worked for Flexcon Industries in Randolph for 17 years. James enjoyed playing guitar, camping, walking, going to movies and all family activities. He donated regularly to the St. Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Sunday Jan. 3rd 4-8 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Monday in the Funeral Home at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at Colebrook Cemetery in Whitman. |
