Dennis Blackwell

Dennis Kent Blackwell was a man who could be defined by unconditional love passed away January 22, 2023.  Dennis was preceded by his parents Pearl and Herbert, and his brother Brian Blackwell. Dennis is survived by his children Rebecca Manuel and Sean Blackwell; Grandchildren Ashley Manuel and her wife Kelsey, Christopher Manuel and his wife Alexis, Cameron Manuel and their father Mark Manuel and his wife Katherine, Dracen Blackwell, Keegan Blackwell, Cameron Debello and Xavier Hunter; Great grandchildren Elizabeth Manuel, Colby Rosemond, and Loretta Manuel; Brother Darell Blackwell and his wife Debbie, along with great friends and many other family members.

Dennis loved to spend time surrounded by his family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities and martial arts. Dennis was known to make friends with anyone and considered his friends to be family. Dennis took pride in his work as a home health aide, where he cared for others. Dennis lived a life full of forgiveness, love, and happiness.

Relatives and friends invited to visitation in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St, Whitman on Friday February 3rd 5-7 pm.
