Alfred DiMarzio of New Bedford formerly of Readville, died on Sunday, June 7, 2009. He was 95 years old. He was born in Dedham; son of the late William and Anna (DiCarlo) DiMarzio. Husband of Rachel (Stracqualursi) DiMarzio and former husband of the late Wanda (Dardinski) DiMarzio. Father of Alfred W. DiMarzio of CT, Linda Lynch of New Bedford, and Eileen Linville of SC. Brother of Dora Doherty of Dedham. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Alfred worked in shipping and receiving for the US Government. He enjoyed repairing TV’s when they were tables; he loved tinkering, playing cards, and Craps. He was a member of the Readville Bocci Club and the Acushnet Senior Center.
