Anne Mccormack

Anne L. McCormack, of Lakeville MA, formerly Norfolk MA, died unexpectedly on Friday August 26, 2022. She was born on July 20, 1947 in Newton MA, the daughter of the late George L. Seery and Anna M. (Savilonis) Seery. She is survived by her most beloved daughter Jessica Mackinaw, and her husband Colin of Middleboro, her sisters Mary Ellen Giorgio of Natick MA, and Alice Lyons of Belleair, FL, as well as her most cherished grandsons, Timothy Aronne and Benjamin Mackinaw, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Anne was a graduate of Natick High School, class of 1965 and worked for New England Telephone for 20 plus years. She retired early and spent the last 25 years working at Provo Liquors in Norfolk MA, where she leaves many loved coworkers and dear friends that were like family.

Anne’s greatest joys were her daughter, her grandsons, and her best friends Patricia Blease of Ellsworth, ME,  Gail Bagley of Franklin, MA, and Andrea Aronne of Franklin, MA. She loved to sing, to dance, to quilt, sew and she loved a good book. Her knack for writing was also wonderful and she was known for her kind and sage advice. She loved every child – young and old – as if they were her own and will be most remembered for being everyone’s “Mom” and her absolutely wonderful sense of humor and laugh.

Anne will be cremated, with small private ceremonies to follow at her favorite places, and a Celebration of Life will follow in honor of her. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Hospital.
