Claire Callahan

March 7, 1933 — December 31, 2018

Claire F. (Kinsman) Callahan. 85 of Whitman passed away December 31, 2018 at the Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles B. Callahan. She is survived by her children Daniel Callahan of Norton, Claire “Sis” Anderson of FL, Annmarie Hayes of Whitman, Charles III of Plymouth, James of Whitman and Timothy of West Bridgewater. Sister of Beverly Farnham of Abington and the late Harold Kinsman of S. Boston. Also survived by 37 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Claire was the former owner of the Little Big Shop in Whitman. She was a great artist, and working with all crafts. She loved to shop, and most of all she loved spending time with her family, children and her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday Jan. 3 rd 4-8 pm.

A funeral mass will be on Friday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at St. James Cemetery, Whitman.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Holy Ghost Parish, 518 Washington St., Whitman, MA 02382.
