Daniel Phippen

Daniel “Danny” E.  Phippen, 48 of Pembroke Jesus Christ has welcomed him home November 5, 2019. Danny is survived by his only child (son) Dante Phippen. His is the son of Helen M. Clark and Clifford L. Phippen. His sister Terri and six brothers Cliff, Michael, Mark, Allen, Anthony and Joseph. His loving grandmother Mary Phippen, his aunt Carol O’Brien, stepmother Tessy Phippen and many aunts , uncles, nieces and nephews, and countless cousins.

Danny was a member of 181 ^st Engineers National Guard of Whitman. Danny was an excellent carpenter by trade. Longtime member of USA Armature Boxing. Danny was a professional Boxer out of Whitman. Record 21-4, 16KO’s. He held the Mass. Walter Weight Champion and USBF Jr. Middleweight Champion. He traveled the world boxing in many bouts. Danny loved teaching youth boxing. He loved family gatherings cookouts, camping, visiting friends and he loved meeting people of all walks of life.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Saturday November 16th 4-6 pm.

A memorial service will start at 6 pm in the funeral home.
