David Alan Lavoie, age 68, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, passed away on December 3, 2025.
Born in Boston and raised in Weymouth, David was a devoted family man whose kindness, humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew him. He spent his career in the food service industry, where he took pride in his work and was known for his ability to make everyone feel welcomed. David had a warm presence and a natural gift for bringing people together, often becoming the life of any gathering.
David is survived by his loving son, Adam Lavoie, and Adam’s wife, Alyssa Lavoie, who will soon welcome his first grandson. He is also lovingly remembered by his longtime partner, Tracey Parkman, and her children Alex Archer, Samantha Archer, and Rilee Dolan, whom David cared for deeply. He was preceded in death by Kimberly Parkman, who held a special place in his heart.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at a luncheon in early spring, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or to your local food bank, in David’s honor.
David will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
