Donald G. Burr, 64 of Brockton passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 25, 2015. Donald was the beloved husband of Olive “Frances” Burr. He was the loving father of Dawn Bowen and her husband Brian of Brockton, Kathy Meehan and her husband Kenneth of Gardner. Donald was the beloved Papa to Michelle Bowen, Shea-Lynn Bowen, Sean Meehan, Donald Meehan, and Alyssa Meehan.
Born June 5, 1951 to the late Russell Burr and the late Dorothy Burr. Donald was one of seven children, his sisters are Katherine Griffin, Sandra Johnson, the late Linda Bryntwich and the late Karen Vazquez. Brother of Robert Burr, and the late Kenneth Burr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donald was a member of the Conti Club in Brockton. He was an avid football fan, especially of the New England Patriots. Donald enjoyed playing cards. Services will be private.
