Dorene Lacasse

Doreen Doris LaCasse “Dodo”, 58 years old of Quincy passed away August 8, 2016 at Hancock Park in Quincy. She is survived by 6 sisters and 3 brothers; Roxanna Bixler of East Bridgewater, Deborah Vaughan of Scituate, George LaCasse of ME, Eloria DeStoop of ME, Nancy Springer of CA, Theresa Singh of Fall River, Robert LaCasse of FL, William LaCasse of NH, and Lillian Connelly of Taunton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews of which she was god parent to three (Michelle DeStoop, Jacqueline Bruttaniti and Shawn Connelly). She passed after a chronic illness. Dorene was a loving caretaker for the elderly. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. She was a fun, loving, kind, and beautiful soul with a heart of gold. She was well known for her letter writing, especially to her great nieces and nephews. She had an unbroken relationship with her nieces and nephews, who will forever remember her unconditional love for them.

A memorial service will be held on Monday Aug. 15 ^th in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman at 10 am. Relatives and friend invited to attend.

Burial to follow at Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson.
