Edith Welch

WELCH, Edith Anne Of Longboat Key FL and Falmouth MA, formerly of Boston MA, died at age 73 on December 20th, 2009 from cancer. Born in Lawrence to Russell and Marie Bamford, Mrs. Welch worked as a RE broker in Newton MA where, beside her husband the late Bernard C. Welch Sr., she raised her three children Elizabeth (Maheras) of Brookline, Peter of Swampscott, & B. Charles of Northampton. Along with her three children and ten grandchildren Mrs. Welch is survived by three brothers Gil, Jim and David Bamford and three sisters Marian Smith, Jacqueline Moran, and Roberta Banan. Donations may be made in her memory to the Fessenden School (West Newton, MA 02465 or the Dana Hall School Wellesley, MA 02482. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
