Edward Carey

Edward J. Carey, 75, of So. Yarmouth, MA, passed away peacefully on February 4th, 2021, surrounded by family.

Son of the late James and Mary Carey.  Ed was preceded in death by his wife and best friend Barbara (Connolly) Carey of 40 years and his sisters, Marie and Jane.

His is survived by his daughter’s Shealagh Mizzoni of Wells, ME, and Laurie Carey of Bridgewater, MA.  Son-in-law James Pittman of Bridgewater, MA.  His companion Beverly Smallcomb of Saugus, MA.  Loving grandfather (Grumpy) to Conor, Cole and Marisa.  He is also survived by his sister Patricia (Carey) Bowles of Rockland, MA and his brother James Carey of Middleboro, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved Ed.

Ed’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends.
