Edward White

Edward D. White of Whitman MA, died unexpectedly on July 24, 2021 at the age 58. He was born in Quincy, MA, the son of Joseph B. and Gloria C. (Wynott) White.

Eddie went to Whitman-Hanson High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was beloved by all and will be greatly missed by his many close friends and relatives. Eddie was employed throughout his life in the building trades and was a skilled craftsman. Most recently, he served heroically as an essential worker at the height of the pandemic. He was also an avid fisherman, loved music and above all else was a loyal New England Patriots fan.

Eddie is survived by his brother Stephen M. White and his partner Cheryl A. O’Brien of Whitman, MA., his sister Christine E. Thompson and her husband Robert E. Thompson of East Bridgewater, MA., his sister Kathleen White Fabros and her husband Roberto T. Fabros of Bridgehampton, NY,    his sister-in-law Mary White Keeny of Nampa, ID., as well as by many nephews and nieces. Eddie was pre-deceased by his father Joseph B. White, his mother Gloria C. (Wynott) White and his brother Joseph R. White.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman, on Sunday August 1 ^st from 1:30 - 4 p.m., a brief memorial service will follow at 4 p.m.
