Elizabeth W. Baker of Whitman passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday March 22, 2023 at the age of 75. Elizabeth was born and raised in Lynn before moving to Brockton where she graduated with the Brockton High School class of 1965. After graduating she attended the Brockton Business College where she took various business courses. She worked in
various capacities as a legal secretary and office manager for most of her career.
Elizabeth was an energetic woman with plenty of talents and hobbies. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, camping and all animals. When she wasn't engaging in outdoor activites she could be found playing keno and being the life of the party with her friends and family. Above all else Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She would do anything for her family and will truly be missed by anyone who knew her.
Elizabeth was the loving mother of Kimberly Baker of Whitman and Frank W. Baker III and his wife Debbra of Whitman. She was the cherished nana of Melody Emswiler and her husband Chris of Whitman, Taylor Fitzgerald of Whitman and her partner Karli Harmon, Thomas Miller and his wife Allison of Westwood, Arianna Sullivan and her husband Brian of Beverly and great nana of Lilliana, Lucy and Madeleine. Elizabeth was the sister of Barbara Larson of Michigan, Pamela Young and her husband Peter of Lynn and was predeceased by Richard Raymond, Lawrence Mumbauer, Robert Dulling, Ronald Raymond, Lorraine Criddle, Joan Lanovara and John Raymond. She also leaves behind her former husband Frank W Baker Jr. of Whitman along with several special nieces and nephews that she loves spending time with on the North Shore and many extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Elizabeth on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 4-7PM in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. Whitman. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 7PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Elizabeth's memory to NVNA Hospice at https://www.nvna.org/
