Helen Lorenzetti

Helen (Donovan Smith) Lorenzetti of Whitman succumbed to lymphoma on January 1, 2018 at the age of 89. She is survived by her sister, Jean Quinn, her children, William G Smith and his wife, Gail, Paul G Smith, and Patricia A Smith, her grandchildren, Adam Smith and Lexie Smith and her fiance, Reino Ecklord, her stepson Enrico Lorenzetti and his wife, Dianne, along with many neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her children, Lynn M Bernheisel and Daniel V Smith.

Helen grew up in Randolph, was long retired from the banking industy, and was an avid lover of animals and birds.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to her many friends who were so incredibly supportive during her final months as well as everyone at Old Colony Hospice whose caring support and expertise were invaluable.

A memorial service will be held at MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington Street (off Rte. 18), Whitman on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at  2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or any charity that benefits the welfare of animals.
