James William Cook, 54 of Brockton, passed away peacefully Saturday March 24th, after a hard battle with prostate cancer surrounded by family at Season’s Hospice in Milton Ma. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Sally Carter Cook. Jimi was raised in Hanover and graduated from Hanover High School. He was proud of his career as a custom window maker. Jimi was a passionate photographer. He was a loving father to Samantha Cook, Amanda Cook, James Cook and Kirstie White. Loving grandfather to Lucy Cook. And loving brother to Sally MacAllister, and her family Russell MacAllister, Nicole MacAllister, Philip MacAllister and Sarah MacAllister. And loved by many other family and friends, including long-time friend Laurie White.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 14th at Calvary Chapel 175 Market Street, Rockland, MA from 12:30-1:30 pm. Followed by a Celebration of Life at the Eagles 29 Park Street, Rockland, MA from 2-5:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to make a donation to the family toward final expenses you may do so in the card basket at the Celebration of Life, or to Dana Farber of Weymouth in Jimi’s name.
