Janice Ann (Norris) Benson

Janice Ann Norris Benson, 76, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025.

Born on October 21, 1949, Janice was the beloved wife of the late Frank M. Benson, Jr., and the devoted mother of Frank M. Benson III and the late Susan M. Benson. She was the cherished daughter of the late Guido Noris and Ruth (Stanton) Noris.

Janice was the loving sister of Joan Arnold of Hanson; James Norris and his wife Mary of Mansfield; Jeanine Leadbetter and her husband Robert of Easton; Sharon Hickey and her husband Michael of Abington; and Lori Morse of Hanson. She was predeceased by her siblings George Noris and William Noris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.

Janice grew up in Mattapan and Randolph, graduating from Randolph High School in 1967. She worked many years at Gillette, before joining the Gas Company, remaining there until her retirement.

Above all else, Janice’s life was defined by her deep love and dedication to her family. She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved—celebrating holidays, sharing stories, and offering support and kindness to all. Her warmth, humor, and strength will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
