John Brady

January 14, 1936 — June 5, 2021

John J Brady, 85, of East Bridgewater passed away peacefully at his home on June 5, 2021.  John was the husband of the late Judith (Teague) Brady.  He was the father of Ann Brady and the grandfather of Katherine Mullen of East Bridgewater.  He was the father of the late James Brady of East Bridgewater.

John was originally from Readville, MA and grew up with his brother Thomas Brady of Dedham, his late brother Bernard Brady of Walpole, and his late sister Mary Landers of Dorchester.  He later moved to East Bridgewater with his family where he resided until his passing.

John worked for the U.S Postal Service until his retirement at which time he spent all his time with family.  His morning routine was always a hot cup of coffee and reading the newspaper.  John loved to be outside planting, gardening, or just sitting on the porch chatting with his family and friends.  His smile was contagious. He taught everyone that laughter was the best medicine and to his last day he kept us laughing with his antics. Rest in peace Papa.
