John Cooper Clay of East Bridgewater passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 17 th , 2021.
John loved his family, his dogs, his friends, his truck, and his country. He was always ready with a smile and a helping hand. His quick wit, sense of humor and infectious laughter was often shared with family and friends. He was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corp and was currently working as a Local 7 iron worker in Boston for the Karas and Karas Company.
He enjoyed the outdoors. Spending a lot of his time hiking, 4-wheeling, kayaking, and fishing at his family’s camp in Howland Maine. He also enjoyed working out and spending time at the gym.
John’s spirit and light made the lives of everyone who loved him so much brighter. His passing leaves a hole that can never be filled. God Bless and Rest in Peace.
John was the beloved youngest son of Doug and Dena (Kirby) Clay of East Bridgewater and Howland Maine. He is survived by 2 brothers, Brody and Miranda (Milne) Clay of Howland Maine, Jacob and Lycia (Nadolny) Ellis of Whitman, 3 sisters, Amanda (Clay) and John Doherty of East Bridgewater, Andrea (Clay) and Matthew Tempesta of East Bridgewater, Haylee (Ellis) and David Johnson of Bridgewater. 2 grandmothers, Patricia Clay of East Bridgewater, and Lynda Kirby of King NC. John was the proud uncle to 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Also survived by many Uncles, Aunts and cousins.
