John Paul Harrington

John Harrington of Abington passed away on May 7, 2025. John was raised and educated in Milton and graduated from the Blue Hills Regional Tech High School. He worked a couple jobs before becoming a compliance manager, the position he currently held at DHL.

John was a hard worker and enjoyed tinkering and fixing cars. He was a family man and loved taking care of his family and would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He was a one-of-a-kind man and will be missed by all who knew him.

John was the beloved son of the late Paul (Hopper) Harrington Jr. and Paula Harrington of Abington. He was the loving husband of Tori Nicole Harrington of Abington. John was the devoted father of Kailynn Rose Harrington of Hanson and stepfather of Aaliyah Kelley and Dustin Dias Jr. both of New Bedford. He was the brother of Laura Harrington of Abington, Michael Harrington, his wife Louisa of Quincy and was the Uncle of Serena and Sophia Santos of Abington.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of John on Wednesday May 14, 2025 from 4-8PM in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, Whitman. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in John’s memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
