John McGinley, of Arlington, passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on July 2, 1982, he was the beloved son of the late George and Ida McGinley.

John worked as a laborer for Solution Total Construction in Weymouth. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his beloved 1992 Ford Mustang and was a devoted Boston Red Sox fan. John was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh.

John is survived by his loving son, Caeleb; his brothers, David and Derek ; his niece, Eliana; and his Aunt, Laura. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Ida McGinley, and his sister, Crystal McGinley, with whom he is now reunited.
