Joseph Hojlo, Jr.

November 14, 1944 — February 27, 2014

Joseph J. Hojlo Jr. of Middleboro formerly of Lakeville, Jamaica Plain and Dorchester, died Thursday February 27, 2014 surrounded by his children. He was born November 14, 1944 in Amesbury, MA to the late Joseph J. Hojlo Sr. and Dorothy M. (Parker).  Survivors include his daughters, Christine Fisher and her husband Casey of Lakeville, Catherine Connors and her husband Christopher of Middleboro, Julie Oldro of Middleboro, Michelle Hojlo, and one son Joseph J. Hojlo III of Lakeville. He is also survived by his sister Roberta Furlong of Abington and her husband Robert. He was also the brother of the late Mary Trant and her husband Jay. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a long time employee of the Louis M. Gerson Company of Middleboro.  Joe was an avid fisherman and enjoyed carpentry.  He was a member of the V.F.W Post of Middleboro.  He was also an dedicated sports fan who loved watching all Boston and New England teams.

Visiting hours will be held at the First Baptist Church North Middleboro, 111 Plymouth Street, Middleboro, MA Friday March 7 from 4-6 p.m. immediately followed by the service.

A reception will be held at the V.F.W. Post 12 Station Street, Middleboro, MA after the service.
