Joseph Roderick

It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph  M. "Joey" Roderick, announce his unexpected passing on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Joseph was born in Somerville, MA to Regina Cerasale Roderick, also of Somerville & the late Edward Roderick Sr. on May 9, 1981.

He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his mother, his sisters Maureen Roderick, of Hyannis, MA., Nancy Lynch of Williamstown, VT, his brother Edward Roderick, Jr. of Brockton.  His Loving Nephews, Adam Lynch of Williamstown, VT, Patrick Adukonis, of Portland, ME., Daniel Adukonis, of Phoenix, AZ.  Also survived by his Great Nephew Noah Adukonis, of Phoenix, AZ and Great Niece Emerson Lynch of Williamstown, VT, Uncles Dennis Cerasale, NH & Richard Cerasale, AR. and his many cousins. Joseph was predeceased by his father & his brother William Cerasale. He is also survived and will be missed by his many close friends.

He attended school in Somerville, including St. Catherine's School.

Joey loved to bowl, and he loved to play baseball. Loved his Red Sox. He had a large, loving, generous heart and was always ready to reach out and help everyone. He was fun loving and always tried to top everyone's costume at Halloween. He had a smile and laugh that were contagious and lit up the room.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M at St. Joseph's Parish, 264 Washington St., Somerville, MA.

A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow the Mass.
