East Bridgewater

Judith A. Johnson of East Bridgewater passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on May 7, 2023, at the age of 77. Judi was the daughter of Paul and Jean Clark and grew up in South Weymouth. While attending Weymouth High School she met her future husband Peter. They spent many of their younger years in Manomet near the beach and driving around with the top down, something they continued to do for years on their birthdays and anniversaries. After graduation she began working in the Weymouth School system before moving to the E.  Bridgewater school system where she worked, while raising their family, until her retirement in 2005.

Judi had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed sewing, especially making gifts for friends and loved ones. She loved taking trips to Foxwoods to sit at the slot machines and eat at Juniors. Judi loved the sound of wind chimes and collected small ones that were hung all over the ceiling in her sewing room. One of her most treasured collections was her Swarovski crystal figurines. Judi always took pride in her appearance and would have her nails and hair done regularly. Later in life she found the WWE on TV and enjoyed watching the weekly wrestling shows. Above all else Judi loved her family. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her kids and grandkids. She was the best Mimi to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and helped raise many of her grandchildren.

Judi was the loving wife of 55 years to Peter Johnson of E. Bridgewater. She was the devoted mother of Deanna Whitekiller and her husband Bobby of OK, Aimee Stevens and her husband James Jr. of E. Bridgewater and Crystal Condon and her husband Tom of E. Bridgewater. She was the cherished grandmother of Joshua and his wife Michelle, Brandon, Jessica, Adam, Emily and Samantha, and a proud Great grandmother of Noreen, Adelynn and soon to be born Levi. Judi also leaves behind many siblings, cousins and friends who were very important to her.
