Kathleen "Kathi" Gray

Kathleen “Kathi” Gray passed away at home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born December 24,1948, in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Katherine R. (Harris) Cormier and Edward Norris Cormier. She was predeceased by Robin “Bob” Gray, with whom she shared her children, and later, her long-time partner, Johannes “Jake” Jacobsen, as well as by her siblings: Sylvia Cormier and David Cormier.

Kathi had a diverse work history that included owning a glass and garage door business and many years of service as a CNA and home health aide. She was known for her epic and original turn of phrases; her family lovingly referred to these as Kathi-isms. She will be profoundly missed. She loved galavanting. This included going to bingo, traveling, being at the ocean, driving in the car with the window down and the wind in her hair, talking on the phone, watching old movies, and all things trivia. Above all else, family was the most important thing to her.

She is survived by her children: Matthew Gray and Courtney Gray both of Lowell, MA; and her dearest niece, Rachel Tierney and her husband Bruce Tierney of Hudson, NH; her grandchildren: Delanie Robinson and her fiancee Abbie Pettinato of Lowell, MA, and Wyatt Gray of Lowell, MA; and her cherished cat, Harrison; her siblings: Dennis Cormier, Karen Moriarty, Garry Cormier and his wife Deborah Cormier, Elaine Hedgepeth, Noreen Carey and her husband Jack Carey, Deborah Cormier, Mary Marshall, Pamela Cormier, and Carla Seidl; and her dear friend Linda Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 5 Potter Rd., Hudson, NH on Saturday, June 21st at 1:00 pm.
