Marguerite I. Rapson

Marguerite I. "Peg" (Valliere) Rapson of Abington died May 11, 2024, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth at the age of 91. She was born March 18, 1933 in Manchester NH. She was a graduate of Braintree High School Class of 1951. She attended Quincy Hospital School of Nursing and went on to be a pediatric nurse. 

She spent many years volunteering with the Camp Fire Girls as a nurse and then as director. Her many hobbies included gardening, sewing, crocheting and baking banana bread for everyone during the holidays.

Wife of the late James W. (Bill) Rapson they had five children. Predeceased by 2 daughters Sandra (Rapson) Storey and Susan (Rapson) Lemish. Survived by Diane (Rapson) Mello of Harrison Maine, Bill Rapson his wife Sue of Abington and Wendy Rapson of Rockland, Loving Grammie to Jessica Goostray, Elizabeth Storey, Stephen Lemish, Randy Rapson and Rachel Rapson. She will be dearly missed by her dog Libby and cats Mittens and Kit-Kat.

There will be a Celebration of Life on June 16, 2024 at Camp Kiwanee in Hanson from 11:00 a.m. to 2;00 p.m.
