Mark Johnson

Mark R. Johnson, 69, of Buzzards Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 28, 2025. Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of George Johnson and Judith (Alward) Johnson. He graduated from Lynn Tech High School in 1973.

After completing culinary arts school, Mark worked as a delivery driver for Coca-Cola in Boston. Later, after relocating to Falmouth, he started his own painting business, which he ran for many years. In addition to his painting career, Mark obtained his CDL and spent the last 13 years working as a bus driver for the Falmouth school system.

Mark was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed canoeing trips on the Allagash River and camping on Washburn Island. Many of his other hobbies included skiing, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Above all, Mark cherished spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Judith, Mark is survived by his two sons, Robert Johnson and Ryan Johnson; his five siblings, Michele Parker, Stephen Johnson (Marlo), Susan Wright (Stephen), Scott Johnson, and Gregg Johnson (Celeste); and many nieces and nephews.
