Mark I. Setterlund, of Plymouth, formerly of East Bridgewater, passed away January 15, 2019 at the age of 70. He was the husband of Rosemary Setterlund. Born and raised in East Bridgewater, Mark was the son of the late David and Winnifred (McAtskill) Setterlund. He leaves behind his brother Richard Setterlund and his wife Dale, of Hyannis, his daughters; Michele Falconeiri and husband Peter of Rochester, Melissa Rocha and husband Kevin of Attleboro, and son Christopher Chambers of Bridgewater. In addition, he leaves his step-sons; Douglas Duquette and wife Renee of Gloucester, Dean Duquette and wife Linda of Plymouth, step daughters; Dawn Langlois of Plymouth, and Danielle Campbell her husband Brian of Plymouth. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Mark was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War and recipient of the purple-heart. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 25 years and served as Vice President of NALC Postal Workers Union branch 156. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved the beach. He was also an avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.
A private ceremony will be held for the family at National Cemetery in Bourne.
