Mary Frankio
June 10, 1921 — December 25, 2016
Mary J. (Mackiewicz) Frankio 95 of Whitman passed away December 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by family. Wife of the late Edward Frankio. Mary is survived by her daughters Mary and Regina of Whitman and son William Frankio of Maryland. Sister of the late Helen Chiros, Walter Mackiewicz and Sophie Szematowicz. Also survived by grandchild Diana Ingram and great-grandchild Taylor Staley, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mary worked for the ILGWU as a seamstress for over 40 years until she retired. After her retirement she volunteered, tirelessly, for 25 years for East Coast Italian Greyhound Rescue.
A Funeral Mass will be on Friday December 30 in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 9 am.
Burial to follow at St. James Cemetery in Whitman.
