Pembroke

It is with terrible sadness that we inform you about the loss of Matthew E. McManus, a student at Pembroke Middle School 8th grade, who died by suicide June 18, 2022 at the age of 14.  Matthew loved retro arcade games, and anime.  He enjoyed playing the cello, he loved 80s rock and roll (all kinds of music really).  He loved cooking and eating different foods, especially soup.  He loved white tee shirts, swimming, riding the go cart and playing frisbee. He loved holidays, and he especially loved his family and spending time with them.

He is survived by his loving parents Thomas and Karen (Sullivan) McManus. His brother Jonathan McManus. Beloved grandson of Mark and Sonia McManus, Lois Ball, Paul and Jan Sullivan, and Melanie Sullivan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
