October 16, 1959 — July 27, 2016
Maureen (Lane) Varley , 56 of Whitman died unexpectedly July 27, 2016 at the Brockton Hospital. Born and raised in South Boston by the late Madeline and Francis Lane. She was predeceased by her loving husband William Varley. She resided in Ocala, FL for 10 years and returned in 2013 with her husband to live in Abington. Maureen is survived by her sister, Anne Walsh and her husband James of Dorchester. Also survived by a loving host of 2 nephews, 1 grandnephew, and many extended relatives and friends.
Maureen loved cats and left behind her 2 beloved cats, Abigale and Sammie.
A memorial service and interment will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, in Bourne on Monday Aug. 8that 10:30 am.
Immediately following the service, relatives and friends are welcome to gather together to celebrate Maureen’s life, the place to be announced following the Bourne service.
