Micheal E. Cullinan Sr., 79, of Whitman, Massachusetts, passed away on October 23, 2025, at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center after a period of failing health.
Born on August 22, 1946, in Peabody, MA, Micheal was the beloved son of Ralph and Mildred Cullinan. He graduated from South Shore Vocational High School in 1966, where he studied Metal Fabrication and Welding. On March 17, 1973, he married the love of his life, Annette (Lindsay), with whom he shared more than five decades of devotion and companionship.
Micheal proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Beyond his service, he was known for his love of football games and the simple joy of napping, which brought him peace and comfort throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Annette (Lindsay) Cullinan of Whitman; his children, Micheal Cullinan Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Whitman, Joseph Cullinan and his wife Christine of Great Falls, MT, Lynette MacNeil and her husband Josh of Whitman, Evelyn Fitts of Abington, and Michelle Rock and her husband Ron of Whitman. Affectionately known as “Bumpa,” Micheal was cherished by his twenty one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Micheal’s legacy is one of love, family, and quiet strength. Services will be held privately within the family.
