Jean White of South Easton passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband, Vernon, of 62 years by her side on December 25, 2020.
Jean was a 1953 graduate of Oliver Ames High School where she was on the girls basketball team. She enjoyed many activities including volleyball, ice skating, horseback riding, and gardening. She was known to spoil many family pets over the years. She was an avid New England sports fan, her love of which she shared with her children and grandchildren.
An Easton bus driver for 43 years, she loved her job. Nothing made her happier than watching all the children she drove to school grow throughout the years. During her extensive time driving bus she developed many professional and personal relationships that she treasured.
Jean was a loving, doting, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (Gamme). She is survived by her husband Vernon, children Bonnie Felch (John Felch), Scott White (Charity White), David White (Lori Zwicker), Cindy Wild, and James White; along with her grandchildren Melissa White, Jackie Pokrant, and Matthew White.
A private burial will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a future date.
