Patricia Bland

Patricia (Patsy) Bland, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She was born on March 17, 1935, to Albert and Silvia Fletcher, grew up in the Manchester area of England, and later fell in love with and married Peter Gerald Bland of Cottesmore, Rutland, England.

Patsy loved well, dressed with style, commented with a ready wit, and lived with memorable devotion. Patsy came to faith reciting Psalm 23, which her daughter spoke over her as she passed. Her faith was joyous and delightful, warm and engaging.

She is survived by her children, Chris and his wife Caroline, Sue and her husband Richard, five grandchildren, Dominic and his wife Kelley, Elliot, Madeline and her husband David, Tristan and his wife Jenny Beth, Helena, and two great-grandchildren, Graham and Sophie, and was preceded in death by her husband.

A service, Remembering Patsy, will be held at The Connection Church, 440 Webster St, Rockland, MA, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 3:00p.m., with refreshments to follow.
