Patricia A. Gadoury (Pickering), age 84, of Milton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Patricia was raised and educated in Milton, graduating from Milton High School in 1958. Following high school, she worked for The Boston Globe as an ad taker before meeting her husband, Peter, at a Celtics game. They were both dedicated Celtics fans. The two married and began their family in Braintree. Patricia was a devoted and dedicated wife and mother who raised her children with the love and support of her large extended family.
Patricia especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She found great joy in spending time with them attending birthday parties, baptisms, communions, weddings, sporting events, and plays.
Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter J. Gadoury, her daughter Danielle Berry, and four siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Pellegrine and her husband Robert of Hanson, and Michelle Coner and her husband Robert of Rhode Island. She was the devoted Grammy of Aimee, Lauren, Rachel, Rebecca, Paul, James, Peter, Matthew, and Erin, and the proud Great-Grammy of Jacob, Theodore, Calvin, Benjamin, Nora, Sophia, and Amelia.
Patricia is also survived by her brother David Pickering, and her sisters Linda Mowles and Gail Sim.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Patricia on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 PM at the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman, MA. Relatives and friends will gather the following morning at St. Agatha’s Church in Milton for a Celebration of Life Mass on Thursday at 10:30 AM. A luncheon will follow immediately after the Mass. Burial will be at a later date, Plain Street Cemetery in Braintree.
