It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Priscilla Ann Fountaine (DiCarlo), of Brockton Ma on Saturday, Feb 11, 2023, at the age of 77 years after a brief battle with cancer.
Priscilla was born in Dorchester Ma in 1945. She spent her early years in the city working for New England Telephone. When she met her husband, Russell, they moved to Quincy & then on to Whitman Ma where they would raise their three girls. They spent 26 years in Whitman. She always loved the sunshine, to plant her flowers, her pool at the house & having company over to barbecue in their private yard. She loved to travel to Florida when her children were young & stay in Pompano Beach. She loved the beach & the Florida sun. She also traveled to Antigua with her family. She loved her crossword puzzles, word search, seeing family & the pool at her home in Brockton. She also loved her twin grandsons and spending time with them.
She is the wife of the late Russell P. Fountaine who passed away in 1995. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Anne Marie Fountaine of Whitman, Barbara Ferreira (Walter) of North Carolina and Jill Fountaine of Brockton & her two beloved grandsons: John Russell Fountaine of Braintree & Joseph Robert Fountaine of Brockton; She was the only sister to brothers Robert DiCarlo of Brockton & Joseph DiCarlo (Barbara) of Bridgewater, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Priscilla was predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Edna (Quinlan) DiCarlo; and an infant sister Barbara DiCarlo
Relatives and friends invited to visitation on Thursday February 16th 5-7 pm in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. Whitman. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
