Renee Travers

Renee M. (Smith) Travers of Hanson passed away after a long illness December 6, 2018 surrounded by her family at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. She is the daughter of the late Paul L. and Judith A. (Pike) Smith. She is survived by her husband Michael E. Travers of Hanson. Her daughters, Nicole Kailher of Brockton, Danielle Kailher of Whitman and Courtney Kailher of Whitman. Sister of Regina Evans and her husband Shawn of Cohasset, Paul Smith of Bridgewater, Randy Smith and his wife Collette of Whitman, and the late Rebecca Coughlin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Monday Dec. 10th 4-8 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 9 am. Burial will be private.

Renee’s family would like to thank The Hanson Fire Department, Brockton Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Staff for their love and care.
