Richard P. Briggs of Hanover passed away on November 4, 2022 after a tough battle with paralysis from a fall. He was just 30 years young.
He is the grandson of the late Richard and Lorraine Briggs of Hanover and Donald and Joan Maddy of Pembroke.
He is survived by his father Robert Briggs of Hanover and mother Diane Briggs of Rockland. His sister Heather Rance. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Dawn Frazer, Mark Maddy, Kurt Maddy, Scott Maddy, Craig Maddy, Keith Maddy and Vicky and John Doherty. He is survived by his girlfriend Brittany Ralph who stayed by his side 24/7 throughout his battle. He is also survived by an abundance of cousins.
Richard graduated from Hanover High School and went into the construction business. He loved working hard and was proud of his accomplishments...especially all the picnic tables he built on the side.
Family was always number 1 in his world and he loved everyone in it unconditionally.
With a mountain dew in hand, he always wanted to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He thrived on helping anyone with any job. He was a lover of all animals and friend to anyone. Richard saw only the good in anyone who crossed his path.
He loved his dad's boat and was eager to learn it all so he could be the captain.
And last, but not least, he loved his double apple crisp and couldn't get enough of it.
We all love you Richard and wish you peace. The suffering is over.
