Robert Flood, Sr.

Robert A. Flood Sr. of East Bridgewater formerly of Brockton passed away September 10, 2009 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was 68. Beloved husband of Catherine (Minella) Flood. Father of Robert A. Flood Jr., and his wife Rose of East Bridgewater, and Louise Flood of East Bridgewater. Brother of Barry Sherman of LA, Stanley Sherman of Lakeville, David Sherman of FL, Beverly Smith and her husband Jerry of LA, Sandra Reynolds and her husband Robert of East Freetown. Also survived by his grandchildren Angelina and Grant. Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday in St. John the Evangelist Church in East Bridgewater at 9 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater.
Robert was a mechanic for the Longshoreman Union, and he also loved fixing lawn mowers.
