Ronald "Da" Wirtanen

Ronald “Da” F. Wirtanen, 68 of East Bridgewater passed away Saturday October 22, 2022. Husband of the late Marion (Lynch) Wirtanen.  Ronald was born in Quincy son of the late Toivo “Rudy”  and Agnes H. (Mombourquette) Wirtanen. He was a former Process Engineer for Polaroid for over 30 years. He was also the first employee hired by Kindle. When Da wasn’t working he was watching his favorite local sports team, blasting music, being the life of a family party or hanging with his life long friend the late Peter Erna.

He is survived by his son Robert D. Wirtanen, and the late Julie A. Wirtanen. Son in law Timothy Castelluzzi. Brother of Paula Nee and her husband Johnny, Elaine Fleming and her husband John, Susan Carmichael, Mary Amaral, and the late Janet Wirtanen, and Michael Wirtanen. Also survived by his grandchildren Jackson, Benjamin and Anna Marion.

A Celebration of Life Party for Da will be held at the VFW in Whitman, MA Saturday November 12 ^th from 4-10pm
