Roy G. Tucker Jr. of Whitman, MA passed away unexpectedly on April 28th, 2025, at the age of 67. Roy was born on August 23rd, 1957, to the late Roy G. Tucker Sr. and Patricia A. Tucker (Twomey), and was raised in Whitman.

Roy was a man of great curiosity and heart. He had a passion for music, reading, and cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams. He enjoyed peaceful walks through many of Boston’s parks, where he found inspiration and joy in nature. Roy was also an Ambassador for Greenpeace, where he made many meaningful connections and friendships over the years through his advocacy and kind spirit.

He is survived by his loving sisters Janet Gonsalves of Avon and Ellene Robishaw of Whitman, and his brothers John Tucker and Richard Tucker, both of Whitman. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Yelapi (Tucker). Roy also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Roy on Wednesday, May 21st from 4 to 6 PM at MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington Street, Whitman. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Roy’s legacy of kindness, love for the environment, and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
