Sally T. (Derochea) Wilson of Whitman passed away May 11, 2018. Daughter of the late Joseph Derochea and Minnie (McNutt) Dearnley and the late James Dearnley. Wife of Frank Wilson, and the late George Severance, Sr. Mother of Christine (Severance) Ellis and her husband Randall of Brockton, George Severance Jr., and his wife Cindy Meaney of Norton. Grandmother of James Ellis and his partner Jessica Foley of Raynham, and Michael and Christine Purpura of Norton. Sister of the late Frances Carriere, and Ralph Derochea. Godmother of Linda McCraney of Englewood, Fl. Also survived by nieces and nephews Frances Carriere of Rockland, and Edmund Carriere and his wife Sharon of Onset, and Ginger Kirby of Whitman. Sister in law Geraldine Derochea of Pembroke and her children Cathy, Sharon and Robert.
Sally was born in Rockland, and later moved to East Bridgewater, and now resides in Whitman. She worked for many years for Electro Signal Labs in Rockland, most recently ran the second hand shop at the Whitman Senior Housing, at Harvard Court. She loved dogs, knitting and crocheting and she was an avid seamstress.
