Stephen Beisheim

September 25, 1968 — March 6, 2011

Stephen P. Beisheim lost his 3 year fight with cancer on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his home in Whitman surrounded by family and holding the hand of his beloved wife. He was 42 years young. Stephen was born in Stoughton. He is a graduate of Oliver Ames High School in N. Easton, and received his Bachelor's Degree from Stonehill College in N. Easton. He worked as the Foods Manager for Costco Wholesale Club where he was an employee for 20 years. He was a lover of life. He was a black belt in karate, he enjoyed playing backgammon and cribbage and also enjoyed outdoor activities including scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and traveling to exotic locations. Stephen made the best of his disease by participating in clinical trials in hopes of helping with future cancer research. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Peters-Beisheim and his daughter Hillary Peters, both of Whitman. He is the son of Peter and Elizabeth (Heffernan) Beisheim of S. Easton. Brother of Paula Beisheim of S. Easton and Kathy Beisheim of Yarmouth. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his faithful dog Zoe. He will be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of many.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Thursday Mar. 10 th 4-8 pm.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 am in the Chapel of Mary on the Stonehill College Campus, entrance at 126 Belmont St. (Rt. 123) Easton. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment will be private.
