Stephen Michael O’Keefe

Our charmingly ornery tell-it-as-it is thick accented Bostonian, Stephen Michael O’Keefe has entered the presence of the living God this Saturday at 12:41 am on December 14 ^th , 2019. It is our joy to see his cancer-induced pain depart, yet great sorrow as it took his life. He was greatly, loved by many for his resolute spirit, humor, and faithfulness to his family, friends and faith.

He was adopted into the O’Keefe family as if born their own. In his 67 years, Steve diligently worked for Gillette, retiring after 30 years with the company.

He met his sweetheart Kim in Hawaii, leading to 36 years of marriage in Pembroke, MA. It was over 21 years ago, Kim and Steve birthed a much prayed for miracle only son John Henry. In the later part of his life, Steve surrendered to Jesus Christ, which brought him a new identity into the family of God by Jesus’ blood.

We praise God for Steve’s resilient life. He was a strong provider, faithful husband, loyal father, giving son, patient brother, humorous brother-in-law and kind uncle.

Our hearts are broken, but not our hope.

We await the day when we see him again-restored.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday December 21 ^st at 10 am at The Vineyard-A Community Church, 8 Hilltop Ave, Kingston, MA 02364. All are welcome.
