Susan Richardson

Susan (Susie) Groen-Whelan (59) of Brockton MA Passed away unexpectedly on December 10th surrounded by family and friends. Susan was born in Boston MA on June, 3 rd 1963 to the late William and Patricia Groen. She is survived by her husband Dennis (Dud) Whelan of Brockton MA, Sister Lianne Groen of Anderson SC, Daughter Kimberly Bowes and husband Thomas of Weare NH, Son Jeffrey Richardson and wife Stephanie of Abington MA, Son Sean Richardson and Fiancé Jonnie Lace of Weymouth MA, Daughter Lindsey Whelan of Norton MA. And Niece Amanda Johnson of Anderson S.C as well as 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was a music enthusiast, accomplished cook and most of all loved being a school bus driver. She made friends everywhere she went. Although sadly missed she blessed so many hearts with her life, laughter and love.

A memorial service will be held at a time yet to be determined at MacKinnon Funeral Home.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday December 29th 5-7 pm.
