Susan Simpson

Susan Lynn Simpson (Reis), of Rockland, passed away on October 18, 2026. She was born in Weymouth on June 7, 1955, to the late Raymond and Diane (Taylor) Reis and was a lifelong resident of Rockland.

Susan graduated from high school in 1973 and went on to work for Boston Edison Company as a dispatcher for many years.

Susan enjoyed life and had many interests. She loved playing bingo, trying her luck at gambling, and working on word puzzles. During her high school years, she was an enthusiastic cheerleader and captain of the cheerleading squad, which placed second in competition. She also had a lifelong passion for softball, playing in local leagues throughout the years.

Susan was a loving aunt to five nieces and one nephew, who will cherish the memories they shared with her. She is survived by her sister, Karen Badger, of Raynham, and her five nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Diane Reis, and her brothers, Dennis and Eric Reis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Susan's visitation on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington Street, Whitman, MA 02382.
