Brockton – Teri L. Levreault, 71, passed away on April 14, 2026, after a long illness.

Born on October 26, 1954, in San Diego, CA, she was the daughter of Douglas Hawthorne and Patricia Hawthorne (Ronane). Teri was a graduate of Roslindale High School (Class of 1972) and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1977. She went on to work for over 18 years at a pharmaceutical distribution company in Brockton.

Teri was the beloved wife of Phil Levreault, whom she married on August 10, 2014, and the loving mother of John J. Hayward Jr. and Caitlin Hayward of Weymoth. She was the sister of Doug Hawthorne of Plymouth and Scott Coogan of Plymouth, and the cherished grandmother of Maci R. Hayward of Weymouth and Scarlett Hayward of New York. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Hayward Sr. in 1996, and her son, John J. Hayward Jr. in 2020.

Teri enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her summer cottage in Plymouth, especially relaxing in the backyard and enjoying the wildlife. She also loved puzzles, playing games on her phone, and gardening.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, May 2nd from 2:00–5:00 PM at the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4:30 PM in the funeral home.
