Tonya Beckstrom Tsolias

Tonya P. Beckstrom Tsolias of Hanson, formerly of Holbrook suddenly passed away December 29, 2018 at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston. Tonya was 45, but had the spirit and energy of a 25 year old. She spent many years working as a secretary for the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury. In her everyday life she enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family. Christmas was her very favorite time of year and she would spend many hours to make it incredible for her children, and then grandchildren, enjoying every minute of it. Tonya was always the center of attention without ever even trying to be, she just had that outgoing personality that lit up the room and had the greatest sense of humor, and quite sarcastic too. She had always been the type of person to look at the glass as half full, and make troubles feel small. She cherished her family and did everything in her power to make sure they were all taken care of.

Tonya is survived by her husband Steve Tsolias, daughters Katie Beckstrom, Stephanie Bezanson, and Christy Bezanson, and son, Randy Beckstrom. Two brothers, Steven and Eric, as well as many aunts and cousins. Her greatest joy the last few years came from her three grandchildren Jeremy, Michael and Bella. In her short 45 years on this earth she has made lasting impressions on those who surrounded her leaving them all with so many unique memories to cherish because Tonya really was one of a kind.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Sunday Jan. 6 ^th 3-7 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 10 am.

Burial to follow at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.

Tonya Beckstrom Tsolias is predeceased by her mother, Patricia (Meyers) Beckstrom in 2006, her brother Michael Beckstrom in 2013, and by her father Paul E. Beckstrom on April 29, 2018. Following the procession from the MacKinnon Funeral Home at 10:00 am, a service ceremony at graveside is to include burial of all deceased family members for interment on Monday, January 7, 2019.
