Warren Macdonald, Jr.
September 27, 1939 — May 10, 2014
Warren J. MacDonald, Jr., of Abington passed away May 10, 2014 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Patricia C. (McAuliffe), and his daughter Joyce, her partner Mark Rockman, and their children Casey and Jack. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Jean (MacDonald) Gallagher.
Former employee of US Post Office Hingham where he worked for29 years, retiring in 2000. Also former employee of South Shore Hospital, where he worked as a shuttle van driver until 2006.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and deer hunting. Longtime fan of the Boston Bruins.
Viewing and visitation will be on Monday afternoon viewing 2-3, relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial at a later date will be private.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Greater Boston Food Bank, 70 South Bay Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
Mr. MacDonald's family would like to express their deep appreciation to the employees of Colony Center for Health and Rehabilitation or the compassionate care that was extended to him over the last few years.
