William Jeffers

William Campbell Jeffers Jr. of Lakeville and Middleboro passed away at the West Roxbury V.A. Hospital Wednesday June 11, 2014 after a brief illness, at the age of 69. He was the son of the late William C. Jeffers Sr., Late District Fire Chief District 6 Boston F.D. and Josephine (Shea) Jeffers. Father of William C. Jeffers and his wife Jill of Worcester. Brother of Patricia Ellis of East Falmouth, Cecelia Peterson of Middleboro, Christine F. Hojlo of Lakeville. and the late Kevin Jeffers late Boston F.D. E-10. Grandfather of Sarah and Jason Jeffers. Loving uncle to 15 nieces and nephews and 25 grand nieces and nephews.
William served in the U.S. Army in Germany and was employed for many years at the Polaroid Corp. in Norwood. He enjoyed reading, old movies, and being with his friends at the Hide Away in Middleboro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St's Martha and Mary's Church 354 Bedford St. (Rte. 18) in Lakeville Friday June 20th at 10 AM.
Burial will take place after Mass in the National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
