Alice Connors

Alice C. (Duchaney) Connors of Bridgewater formerly of Rockland and Neponset passed away peacefully September 9, 2010 surrounded by her children at N.E. Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a short illness. She was 82. Wife of the Late Lawrence J. Connors. Alice was born in Dorchester and attended St. Ann’s School and graduate of Dorchester High School. Alice worked for Electro Signal Labs in Rockland for 15 years. She was a resident of Rockland for 23 years and later lived in Bridgewater for 22 years. She was very active in the Mothers Club at Holy Family School and Rockland Youth Hockey. Alice enjoyed Tenean Beach in Dorchester, bowling and traveling. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Lawrence A. of Quincy, Michael J. of Sandwich, Richard J. of Quincy, Catherine A. Smith of Bridgewater, John of Abington, and the late Kevin J. Connors. Sister of James W. Duchaney of NH, Emilie M. Duchaney F.M.M. of Smithfield, RI, and the late Paul L., Arthur R., Richard J., and Robert N. Duchaney.  Also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Monday Sept. 13 ^th 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

Funeral Mass Tuesday in Holy Family Church in Rockland at 9 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland.
